2x 1940 KONE (1rb. 1990 KONE) (2rb. 2023 S:ler) MRL tr. elev. @ Mikonlinna, Fennia-kortteli, HKI, FI

Filmed on 25.7.2025. These are elevators number 1 and 2 at Mikonlinna office building of Fennia-kortteli mixed-use building. The left elevator is number 1 and the right elevator is number 2. These two elevators are staircase A passenger elevators. 1st floor has exit to Mikonkatu. 4th floor is for staff and they have to show their badge on the badge scanner for going there. 6th floor has IPRally Technologies and The State Pention Fund. 7th floor has Sievo Procurement Analytics Software company. 8th floor has Aalto Capital corporate finance advisory firm and Meltwater business management consultancy. These elevators were originally made in 1940, first rebuilt in 1990 by KONE and later again rebuilt by Schindler in 2023. The elevators were tractions with machine room before the second rebuilding but after that they were changed to MRL tractions. Also the technical closets of MRL elevators were installed on 8th floor. KONE installed cab indicators and directional lanterns outside. Schindler modernized indicators by making them show floors outside too and moved cab buttons and indicators from the front walls to the right side wall on elevator number 1 and to the left side wall on elevator number 2. Buttons and interior were modernized twice. Capacity of the elevators before the second rebuilding was 10 persons or 800 kg but after the second rebuilding elevator capacity is 9 persons or 725 kg. The elevator serial numbers were H 66065 on elevator number 1 and H 66066 on elevator number 2 before the second rebuilding but after that they’re 20099200 on elevator number 1 and 20099203 on elevator number 2 now. The original elevators had gates and swing doors before the first rebuilding when automatic doors were installed. The elevators have no data about original installation year nor serial numbers nor the first rebuilding. This building has Vapiano Mikonkatu restaurant, On The Rocks bar, Henry’s Pub and Public Corner pub on the street.
