Green corridors in Salamanca (English sub)

Salamanca is a city that spearheads the fight against climate change with initiatives promoted by the Council to offer citizens more open and healthy spaces. Through ERDF co-financing, and thanks to the EU Cohesion Policy, the creation of Green Corridors between Salas Bajas and El Marín completes the integration of the Tormes River into the city. The river no longer represents a natural barrier to become a space that can be enjoyed by locals and tourists through 13 kilometres of walkable riverbanks running throughout the entire municipal area of Salamanca.
