LIBERACIÓN DEMONIACA Padre Chilo

Lord, the devil prowls "like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour" (1 Pet 5:8). We do not want to fall into his clutches. Deliver us from evil. Deliver us from the tempter, from his seductions and deceptions; do not let him sow the weeds of evil in our lives. Deliver us from pride, self-love, and self-sufficiency. Deliver us from idolatry and vanity, from every form of selfishness, from placing ourselves at the center of our thoughts and interests. Deliver us from being slaves to the opinions of others, from cowardice, from human respect, and from everything that conditions our Christian authenticity. Deliver us from everything that enslaves us without our realizing it. Deliver us from bad feelings, from resentment, from hatred, from the desire for revenge. Deliver us from any ambition or bondage that robs us of peace. We want to aspire to things above, not to things on earth. Free us from the attachments that prevent us from flying to you. Remove from us all trouble, anguish, sadness, or obsession. Free us from the forces of evil, from spells, from witchcraft, from diabolical infestation. We want to be always in your arms and never under the power of Satan. We want to be free, Lord! We want to be yours, only yours! We want to put off the old self and be clothed in the new self through the grace you give us in the Sacraments. We are certain that if you are with us, no one can be against us (cf. Rom 8:31). Therefore, we offer this prayer, full of trust in you: You have overcome the world (cf. Jn 16:33). We can do all things through you who give us strength (cf. Phil 4:13). Through the merits of the passion, death, and resurrection of your Son, Jesus Christ, we ask you, Father, to free us from evil now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
