Spain #1 NIH webinar - "The gender gap in STEM: From Causes to Future Challenges"

This recording highlights insights from 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻’𝘀 #𝟭 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗯 (𝗡𝗜𝗛) 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘀, 𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗱 "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗮𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀" which took place on December 17, 2026. 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆: This session explored the root causes of gender inequality in STEM and examined how these factors continue to affect women and girls today. The discussion also addressed current obstacles and highlighted pathways toward a more inclusive future in the field. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿: • 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝘂𝗲𝗱𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗮𝗹 - Computer Engineer and PhD in Computer Engineering from the Universitat de València.
