Grayson McGuire Teaching Reel

Grayson McGuire is a Los Angeles–based dance educator, choreographer, and performer from Kansas City with over 16 years of teaching experience. His career has taken him around the world as both an artist and educator, performing with artists including Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Doechii, Adam Lambert, and Twenty One Pilots while teaching for universities, studios, conventions, and educational programs such as Loyola Marymount University, Chapman University, LAUSD, and private schools throughout the United States, Mexico, Hong Kong, and Singapore. As the 2020 Capezio ACE Awards Grand Prize-winning choreographer alongside his creative partner, Grayson’s work has also been featured at the Palm Desert Choreography Festival, set on the Oakland Ballet, and commissioned for award-winning competitive works and music videos. He is currently a member of Entity Contemporary Dance under Will Johnston and Marissa Osato, where he continues to train, teach, and mentor through the company’s renowned intensives and classes, and is also a former member of Dana Foglia Dance. Blending a foundation of classical ballet with the groove, musicality, and athleticism of jazz, funk, hip-hop, and contemporary, Grayson is passionate about creating an inspiring, high-energy classroom where dancers feel challenged, supported, and empowered to take creative risks. His teaching emphasizes technical excellence, artistry, self-discovery, and genuine connection, encouraging every student to deepen their understanding of movement while rediscovering the joy and passion that first inspired them to dance.
