The Eddleston Water Project
This short film outlines the history and achievements of the UNESCO-recognised Eddleston Water Project. The Eddleston Water is a tributary of the River Tweed and for the past 14 years its 70 km-sq catchment has been home to a unique, multi-partner project that is collecting evidence of the benefits of natural flood management techniques. Through introducing subtle changes to existing land management practices, these aim to enhance flood resilience, improve biodiversity and help to adapt the river environment to the effects of climate change.
