It would be an understatement to say my current existence is supported by love. When others speak on the power of love, I wonder if they mean something like this? The power to overcome difficulties beyond what was once thought possible. The safety as if an embrace from a warm memory. The comfort found in another persons voice and every word they, that can make or break an moment. The trust that they somehow know exactly what it takes to help. The feeling that comes when they do so without even a word needing to be said. Oh how beautiful love truly is and can be. I wrote this scene with the picture in my head of a young soon to be lawyer and his partner. He is at a point where he isn't sure if this is the right path for him, he wonders if he can really make the changes he wanted to when he began this journey.
