Replacing heating element on Miele Washing Machine WDB020 HD 720p

This is the way I replaced heating element on my Miele WDB020 washing machine. The washing machine was tripping my circuit breakers every time it was supposed to heat the water. So I removed the heating element and found it not to be in the best shape. I wanted to test if it was bad or not so I plugged it into electrical socket and it was heating water with no effort and it wasn't tripping fuses. So I tried to install it back but it wasn't working again. So I risked it and bought new heating element and installed it. Since then everything works fine. I am not a professional so if you see anything that I did wrong please let me know so I can learn for a next time I need to do something like that. Thank you.
