Y Stand | Côr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Wrecsam 2025
Perfformiad llawn o Y Stand gan Gôr Eisteddfod Wrecsam 2025. Sioe newydd sbon gan Manon Steffan Ros ac Osian Huw Williams (Candelas) am bêl-droed, am ennill a cholli, ac am y cysylltiad arbennig sy’n dod o gefnogi tîm. Mae ’na bob math o bobl ar y Stand, a ffawd wedi gosod eu tocynnau tymor nesaf at ei gilydd. Dyma deulu sydd ddim yn perthyn, yn dathlu ac yn torri calonnau efo’i gilydd, yn dibynnu ar y sgôr y diwrnod hwnnw. Dro arall, mae’r gagendor rhwng eu bywydau’n teimlo’n enfawr. Dyma ddilyn straeon teulu'r Stand, a hanes Wrecsam a’i hysbryd hi yn ysbrydoliaeth i’r stori obeithiol yma. Côr yr Eisteddfod yw calon a chanolbwynt y sioe, yn gymuned yn sefyll gyda’i gilydd, yn dathlu’r gorau a’r gwaethaf drwy gân. Mae’r stori’n cael ei hadrodd drwy lygaid y côr a’n prif gymeriadau. Mae Clem (Dyfed Thomas) yn actor sy’n gyn-chwaraewr Wrecsam, ac sy’n dychwelyd i’r llwyfan gyda’i hanes personol a chariad dwfn at y Clwb, a Grace (Cadi Glwys), yn ferch ifanc 14 oed sy’n breuddwydio am gael chwarae pêl droed. Geiriau: Manon Steffan Ros Cerddoriaeth: Osian Williams Cyfarwyddwr: Siwan Llynor Côr-feistri: Aled Phillips, Pete Davies a Dafydd Glyn Cyfeilyddion: Lisa Harrison a Richard Jones Perfformwyr: Côr yr Eisteddfod, Dyfed Thomas, Cadi Glwys, Lleuwen Steffan, Rhodri Trefor a Betsan Ceiriog -- A brand-new show by Manon Steffan Ros and Osian Huw Williams (Candelas) about football, about winning and losing, and about the special connection that comes from supporting a team. This is a family that doesn’t belong to each other, all celebrating and having their hearts broken as one, depending on the score on any given day. However at other times, the gap between their different lives feels enormous. The Eisteddfod Choir is the heart of the show, a community standing together, celebrating the best and the worst of what the beautiful game brings through song. The story is told through the eyes of the choir and our main characters. Clem (Dyfed Thomas) is an actor who is a former Wrecsam player, returning to the stage with his personal history and deep love for the Club, and Grace (Cadi Glwys), a young 14-year-old girl who dreams of playing football. Join us at the Wrecsam National Eisteddfod Pavilion on Saturday 2 August and Monday 4 August for a heartfelt performance that is sure to appeal to the widest possible audience. Two nights. One stadium. One story from the heart. Words: Manon Steffan Ros Music: Osian Williams Director: Siwan Llynor Choir-masters: Aled Phillips, Pete Davies a Dafydd Glyn Accompanists: Lisa Harrison an Richard Jones Performers: Eisteddfod Choir, Dyfed Thomas, Cadi Glwys, Lleuwen Steffan, Rhodri Trefor and Betsan Ceiriog
