Documentary - The Classic Prog Rock Albums - Yes - 'Close to the Edge'
Yes released 'Close to the Edge' in September 1972. It was a landmark prog. rock album of the day and today remains one of the most revered classic progressive rock albums of all time. In this documentary I give some history on the making of this album and some interesting insights into aspects of the songs which appear. The video features footage from the Yessongs film recorded at the Rainbow Theatre, London in Dec 1972, with improved audio. [Footage exists for the songs 'Close to the Edge' and 'And you and I'].
