Tajemnica wsi Polsk. Dlaczego zniknęła z Polski?

On the Vistula Spit, there once stood a village that belonged to Poland for hundreds of years. Today, almost no trace remains – it has disappeared not only from maps and the landscape, but also from memory. In this video, we tell the story of the village of Polsk, also known as Narmeln – a former fishing settlement that found itself on the other side of the border after 1957. By decision of the communist and Soviet authorities, the border was moved a few kilometers, and the village ultimately ceased to exist. It is a story of a lost place for fishermen, broken international agreements, and a border that still raises questions today. Why was this particular section of the Spit so important? What really motivated the border change in 1957? And is the topic of this "land between the waters" really closed?"
