"SOBRE EROS". Byung -Chul Han
In April 2023, South Korean philosopher Byung-Chul Han gave a lecture entitled "On Eros" in the Portuguese city of Porto. In this lecture, Han begins with what he considers the heart of his thought: the disappearance of the other. The Korean philosopher poses how the other disappears, expelled by excessive narcissism, and with the disappearance of the other, eros, contact, and love disappear. Only eros can draw the self out of itself and draw it toward the other, toward life.
