MicroNugget: How to Connect GNS3 to the Internet

Start learning cybersecurity with CBT Nuggets. https://courses.cbt.gg/security In this video, Keith Barker covers the steps needed to create a loopback and bridged interface in order to connect a Graphical Network Simulator (GNS3) to the internet. He’ll walk you through each step of setting up a Microsoft loopback interface, then connecting it through a router that’s tied to a cloud. Keith begins by describing what needs to happen to connect GNS3 to the live internet and outlining what is going to happen before he does it. He’ll then walk you through each step of creating a Microsoft loopback interface and tying it to a router, then bridging the real interface with the loopback so they’re effectively in the same layer two broadcast. At that point, whatever happens in the former is mirrored in the latter. In the video, you’ll see him open up the hardware wizard and manually install a network adaptor, then follow that process through to live network connectivity. 🌐 Download the Free Ultimate Networking Cert Guide: https://blog.cbt.gg/sjm5 ⬇️ 13-Week Study Plan: CCNA (200-301): https://blog.cbt.gg/7t3p Start learning with CBT Nuggets: • CompTIA Network+ (N10-007) | https://courses.cbt.gg/lvb • Intro to Networking | https://courses.cbt.gg/tuv • Real-World Cabling and Devices | https://courses.cbt.gg/tlf • Building a Network Design | https://courses.cbt.gg/0g9 • Building a Business Switched Network | https://courses.cbt.gg/ho3
