I will start by explaining that Ilhéus Airport receives daily flights from the main airlines (Latam, Azul and Gol) and that they usually arrive at almost the same time. Therefore, my tip is: stay in the south zone of the city! In addition to being close to the airport, you will be just a few minutes from the historic center and the best beaches in the region. I recommend three great accommodation options: Hotel Praia do Sol, Jardim Atlântico and Aldeia da Praia.
