Espgaluda 2 Survival 1CC with Commentary - Asagi 122,062,188

*** APOLOGIES for the recording artifacts! These were not present during the actual run, and only during the replay. I can only assume this is a bug with Xenia emulation. Despite this and a lack of slowdown in some key areas, Xenia emulates the game well and feels more responsive than the Switch port on my system (although YMMV). Overall though, I chose to play this version just out of convenience (why don't you port your games to PC, M2?!) I'm glad to have finally cleared this game. I've come back to it and given up several times over the past few years, mostly because the easiest survival strategy involved playing Asagi. I won't belabor the point since this is covered extensively in the video, but she was a main detractor of my enjoyment of the game. "But why play her if she's such a chore?" you may ask: well, it would have easily taken me over double the time to clear the game with either of the other two characters. Perhaps time well spent? Who knows, I'm stubborn. Don't get me wrong though, the game looks and sounds amazing. It's definitely one of the highest quality games that CAVE put out. I can see myself spending more time with it and gaining new appreciation in the future. I must say though that the gameplay changes from the original Espgaluda definitely give the sequel its own unique feeling. It's up to preference which you may think is better, but I personally enjoy the more freeform systems of Espgaluda to the more rigid (but deeper) framework of Espgaluda 2. *** As promised, here are two essential Espgaluda 2 resources that will help you clear the game.
