From Zero to Hero | Alice Bellandi | TEDxVia Bafile

Alice Bellandi recounts her journey from darkness to light: a human and sporting journey of falls, rebirths, and faith, to rediscover that true strength comes from fragility and the courage to start over. A judoka, born in 1998, Olympic gold medalist in Paris in 2024, and now a newly crowned world champion, Alice Bellandi enters the world of judo at a very young age and, throughout her athletic career, has overcome injuries, psychological pressure, and difficult periods related to mental health and eating disorders. She is also pursuing a personal journey of coming out, becoming an example of courage and inclusivity.
