Pat Ryan - GSTV Episode 5 - Boxing is The Best Sport

Pat Ryan is the manager of Portlaoise Boxing Club, where he has coached renowned boxers such as Katie Taylor, TJ Doheny, and Michael O'Reilly, along with many other Irish boxing champions around the world. He attributes his success to his mother’s legacy and the mentorship he received from Mr. Blackwell, the founder of Portlaoise Boxing Club. Portlaoise Boxing Club has produced numerous Olympic medalists both nationally and globally. Pat Ryan was a former coach of Katie Taylor, working alongside her father, Pete Taylor, for over six years. He spent 13 years as part of the High-Performance Unit within the Irish Athletic Boxing Association (IABA) and also coached TJ Doheny, who went on to win a world championship.
