Two different Jacks! This theory explains The Shining!

I'd only vaguely heard of this theory before, so I decided to determine its veracity by finding and combining its various components into one video. In #TheShining book, Jack Torrance is writing a history of the Overlook Hotel. Stanley #Kubrick may have modified it for the movie so that he's writing a more personal story loosely based on his own experiences. So what we see in the film are two different Jacks: the unhinged psychopathic killer Jack (or "Mr Torrance"), and his chronicler, the more stable and presentable Jack the writer. PS: Did he write this story for his wife, who's "a confirmed ghost story and horror film addict"? PPS: Props to Rob Ager (check out Collative Learning (https://www.collativelearning.com) and his YouTube channel (   / robag88  ) for the Dopey the Dwarf and Playgirl magazine concepts. PPPS: I think I first heard this theory on Marten GO's channel. Check it out.    / @preserveddragons   #stanleykubrick #kubrick #jacknicholson #1980
