TEST REAL: BGD Dual 3 en condiciones extremas de XC en Tenerife (+3000m rodeando el Teide)

THE TEST FLIGHT THAT PUT US TO THE TEST Rarely does a day of nuclear blue sky align with 3,000-meter ceilings in Izaña Sur. But these glorious conditions come at a price: wild thermals of +6 m/s, constant turbulence, numerous ravines, and a headwind that made everything more difficult. In this video, I show you how we experienced an epic expedition led by the XC master of Tenerife, Lorenzo Nadali, accompanied by a fantastic group: Félix, Horacio, Eduardo, Macin, and Albert Brunat. Jaume and Marta also joined the adventure in a tandem. THE PERSONAL AND TECHNICAL CHALLENGE: I flew with Simona in the new BGD Dual 3. What began as a dream flight turned into a trial by fire when, halfway through the route, motion sickness took hold. In this video, I share my thoughts during that critical moment and how mutual trust and teamwork allowed us to persevere. WHAT I LEARNED FROM THE BGD DUAL 3: After 4 hours of battling the ravines surrounding Teide National Park in winds exceeding 25 km/h, here are my conclusions about the wing: Safety: Incredible stability in strong turbulence. It makes you feel in control. Control: Medium stiffness, very direct, and with a turning radius that allows for easy centering of tight cores. Performance: Unbeatable glide that allowed us to return from Tejina Mountain and land at Tu Trébol by the skin of our teeth. Ease of Use: A beginner's inflation and takeoff, ideal for when takeoff conditions become technical. Has your passenger ever gotten seasick on the best flight of the year? How did you handle it?
