Who is the Leatherman Free P2 For?

The smooth one-handed capabilities of the Free series from Leatherman is certainly the real deal. However, there are also compromises that were made on the P2 and P4 that prevent it from becoming a staple in a hard working environment. Where it really comes into it own is as an upgrade to a skeletool or wingman user. For those that need heavier duty pliers and overall capability over the skeletool the P2 is a great option. For those that are looking for a higher quality, much more useable experience over the wingman, the P2 is a great option. An alternative route would be including the Knipex 125mm Cobras for the higher end pliers but that adds another tool to carry so that weighs into the decision.
