It was often considered niche because Veteran players get better at avoiding damage during gameplay, making the second life redundant. The fireproof also wasn't really ever needed, and there's also multiple ways of getting it on a character during a run if they so wish to. Now, starting with the "RETINA" update, the trait gets a fun new weapon to help encourage players to run the trait again. Let us know what you think of this change down in the comments section.
