A 7-day trip to Espírito Santo do Pinhal and the surrounding region, visiting 13 wineries in São Paulo and Minas Gerais with our Golden Retriever. The purpose of this trip was to immerse ourselves in the Serra dos Encontros region, exploring the wine route that has been developing and boosting tourism and the development of the region, which was formerly based solely on coffee. We ventured further afield, passing through Caldas and Andradas, important points in the development of wine for the region. The biggest challenge was making this trip a trip with our pet, a large Golden Retriever, and we succeeded! We stayed in two guesthouses (Pousada Famiglia Barthô and Hospedaria Casa da Pedra), visited 13 wineries and wine bars in the Espírito Santo do Pinhal region, the Serra dos Encontros region, Caldas, and Andradas. We visited several other restaurants, bars, and breakfast spots, always with our Golden Retriever accompanying us. The idea was to travel to this new place with excellent wines, along with our pet.
