But first, all students accepted into an institution of higher education in France for more than three (3) months need to create an account on a platform called Etudes en France, if you haven't done so already, before you can start your visa application on France-visas website and finally submit it at TLSContact, for those living in Nigeria. On the etudes en france portal, students need to upload all their documents (international passport, CV, admission letter, transcripts, accommodation certificate, etc.) After all documents are confirmed and validated by campusfrance agents, students will be allowed to book an appointment on the platform for their preliminary visa interview in one of the Campus France offices. Please note that you cannot go to submit your visa application at the France embassy/consulate without going through campusfrance. Only after this interview are students allowed to proceed with the visa appointment with TLScontact in Abuja or in Lagos. Please make sure you start this visa process maximum three (3) months before the start date of the program. And note that even if you pass the interview with campusfrance, Acceptance or refusal of a visa is totally at the discretion of the French consular services.
