They are also called simmering granules. In this example I use course grained Pink Himalayan salt and fragrance oil. Check out part 2 where I demonstrate how to use glitters and color the sizzlers. (Link below)    • Part 2 - How to color scented salt sizzler...   What are scented salts? What are sizzlers? They are essentially rock salt crystals that are scented with candle fragrances. Sizzlers, salt sizzlers, scented rock salt, rock salt potpourri, rock salt crystals, simmering salts, are all the same thing. They are salts that smell and are scented rock salt crystals that are for oil burners. They are used in wax melt warmers or oil burners to create an aromatic home. They are home fragrance without the flame of a candle and without the mess of wax. In some ways they are better than wax melts. What salt do you use for sizzlers? I use Himalayan Rock Salt Crystals, the thick chunky rock salt granules that you have to use a grinder for (if you were going to use it on your food).
