Por uma estética imanente em Deleuze e Guattari: Hermeto Pascoal

The purpose of this article is to present a procedure for thinking with music based on the philosophy of difference of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. From this perspective, an immanent approach must be adopted; that is, philosophy should not think about art, but think with art. The concept of the block of sensations is systematically used by Deleuze and Guattari to think with art. We propose that this concept could function through the connection between five concepts: assemblage, aesthetic figure, affect/percept, fable, and monument. We will use this procedure to think with the music of Hermeto Pascoal, specifically in his composition "Música da Lagoa".
