This DSO138 Oscilloscope Shows No Trace… Can I Fix It?
This DSO138 oscilloscope repair attempt tackles a no trace fault where no waveform is displayed on screen. The DSO138 powers on, but there’s no signal line or waveform output — so I start troubleshooting to find out why. An oscilloscope with no waveform output can fail for a number of reasons, from power issues and faulty components to soldering problems or signal path faults. I open it up and work through the diagnostics step by step to see what’s gone wrong — and whether this DSO138 can actually be saved. If you enjoy relaxed, faceless repair videos where things don’t always go perfectly, you’ll probably like this. I’m not an expert, just someone who enjoys opening up faulty electronics and seeing what happens. Expect troubleshooting, trial and error, and the occasional “why did I do that?” moment. ⚠️ Disclaimer: This video is for educational and entertainment purposes only.
