Volvo Laplander (not a Land Rover) & Architectural Salvage & Antique Yard
Neil from Wonky Willow Workshop stumbles across a great gem or two when on holiday. Neil meets Ben who runs the Antiques & Architectural Salvage yard at Daviot near Inverness. Ben fires up the 1963 Volvo Laplander and gives us a walkround. It's not a Land Rover but certainly an interesting piece of kit. Turns out it operated in Sweden near Oskar-Fredriksborg on Rindö & around Stenslätten. The yard at Daviot IV2 5XQ is well worth a visit, make sure you empty the boot before you go, you'll need the space. Ben can be contacted either via Facebook or on 01463 772208 or email [email protected] / scottishhighlandantiques
