Why it surpasses every live action movie. Sixth episode of a series of Batman video essays. As Matt Reeves' Batman approaches, I offer video essays retracing the filmography of the Dark Knight. The first two episodes serve as an introduction so that we understand where the character comes from and the role he plays in our collective imagination. This video is an english translation of my original french video. English is not my first language and I tried my best to translate my text and to pronounce it the correct way with the little time I have.
