In this Disney World trip, we tried something different. After experiencing premium travel like concierge cruise levels and business class flights, we wanted to test a different idea: What happens when you reduce travel friction by reducing financial friction? We stayed at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort — one of Disney’s most budget-friendly resorts — to see how it compares when your goal isn’t luxury… but smarter spending. What we found surprised us. Yes, there are tradeoffs like fewer dining options and slightly longer bus rides to the parks. But we also discovered something unexpected: spending less on the resort can actually create more flexibility, less pressure, and a different kind of travel comfort.
