Best Order To Wax Your Clients

Do you have a client coming in who wants to get a full body wax? Or maybe you just have a client who wants multiple services. It can be really confusing, especially for a new waxer, to know what the most effective way to wax their client when getting multiple services. So I’m here to help! Before I start, I would like to say that this is my opinion. Everyone is different so what works for one waxer, might not work for another. It’s always best to discover the technique that works best for you and your clients. The first thing you want to keep in mind is you don’t want to possibly contaminate your client by doing multiple services. I like to start waxing from the top down. For example, if I have a client who wants to get their eyebrows and brazilian waxed, ALWAYS wax their eyebrows first. This is because you don’t want to possibly contaminate their brows/face with bacteria from their bikini area. If you did decide to wax their brazilian first, you’d have to change your gloves in between the services. One of the most annoying things to have to do in the middle of a service (not to mention wasteful), is to have to change your gloves. Your hands sweat while you’re waxing so having to change out your gloves mid-service is trickier said than done. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve accidentally ripped my new glove while trying to put it on mid-service because my hands were sweating. If you do have to change your gloves mid-service, it helps to sprinkle a little bit of powder on your hands. This will help soak up the sweat on your hands and make it easier for the new glove to slide on. So like I said, I always recommend to work from the top down when doing multiple services.
