Toddler’s Fatal Injuries Were No Accident: Medical Examiner

A Georgia medical examiner took the stand Tuesday with a chilling conclusion: two-year-old Karter Ambrose did not die by accident. Dr. Daniel Brown testified in the murder trial of Karter’s mother, Kianna Davis, detailing a harrowing autopsy report. Dr. Brown testified that the child had six distinct external injuries, alongside severe head hemorrhaging and a lacerated liver. Dr. Brown told the courtroom that this kind of internal damage is typically reserved for severe car accidents. The doctor said the only way Karter could have suffered this injury was if he fell onto something hard enough to cause the laceration.
