I wanted a way to transport my kayak with my converted campervan, the van is over eight and a half feet high and sometimes I would be on my own with no one to give a hand! I looked for a suitable kayak carrier to purchase without any luck, so decided to try and make one ! This video shows the process I went through to design & make a carrier suitable for a one man operation on a "high roof" van, Hope you like it !
