Johnny Ball Explains How CDs and LaserDiscs Work (1988)
From the 1988 TV series "Knowhow" unearthed from one of my old VHS tapes. This holds up pretty well, although LaserDisc video was more akin to VHS as the information was stored in an analogue format despite being read by a laser.
