CONTEMPORARY & BALLET MALE DANCER CXXII - COFL

In this hundred-twenty second episode of contemporary and ballet male dancers we begin with the Youth Choreographer 2025 Competition in Loussane with "Untitled," a pice developed by Sky Natzke from Portugal. French Timothe Mielle is the dance performer and the music "With Smoke Comes Fire" is performed by Robert Ruth and originally written by Willie Griffin in 1984. We continue with Spanish dancer Arana Mikel in "1st Flash Solo." We conclude this episode with a male solo by Marne Van Opstal titled "Tender Hooks" under tyhe coaching of Dutch choreographer Didy Veldman and the music performed by Kronos Quartet. This last performance was part of the 4th Beijing International Ballet & Choreography Competition. It is often misunderstood as a form of dance meant for girls and women only, but nothing could be further from the truth!
