TG4 The GAA Handball Show Series 2, Episode 8, Part 1

The GAA Handball Show series 2 in episode 8 heads to Kingscourt in Cavan for the conclusion of the GAA Handball All Ireland 40x20 championships. The Minor Boys Doubles final sees Cork's Killian Carroll and Pa Herlihy take on Monaghan's Terry McElvaney and Christopher McKenna while Cork's Catriona Casey takes on Armagh's Fionnualla McKenna in the GAA Handball All Ireland Ladies Minor Singles final. The Ladies Open Doubles final saw world champions, Antrim's Fiona Shannon and Sibeal Gallagher, take on reigning champion, Kerry's Maria Daly and Ashley Prendeville. Action then swings to Cappagh in Limerick as Kerry's Maria Daly and Ashley Prendeville meet in the Ladies All Ireland Open singles final. There is a special feature then on the ICHA with the GAA Handball All Ireland Intervarsities championships taking centre stage in Kingscourt in Cavan with interviews from Colm O Luing of Kerry, Antrim Natalie Nic Shim, ICHA Chairman Padraig Gaffney, Shauna Hilley and Ashley Prendiville, Siobhan tully of Roscommon, Fergal Collins from Tipperary. There is a special feature then on the One Wall Schools initiative as UCD take centre-stage with the Dublin senior hurlers making use of the new one wall facilities there. Interviews there with Galway's Martin Mulkerrins, Dublin's Enda Timoney, Dublin hurler, Cian McBride, Dual dublin star Shane Whelan. The One Wall Schools initiative feature then moves to St. Mary's Grammar School in Magherafelt with interviews with Head of PE, John McElholm, School Principal, Deirdre Gillespie. The next in the One Wall Schools features is in Dean Maguirc College in Carrickmore and special feature on their three new courts and interviews with Principal, James Warnock, Head of PE, Enda Kilpatrick.
