Giorgio Michetti (Viareggio, December 7, 1912 - Viareggio, June 17, 2019) was an internationally renowned painter and graphic artist from Viareggio. He lived and worked in Milan, Lugano, and finally back in Viareggio. He began exhibiting in 1929 and became a member of the Académie ARTS-SCIENCES-LETTRES in Paris in 1978. His exhibitions have been held in numerous cities in Italy and abroad: Viareggio, Novara, Seregno, Prato, Milan, Rome, Lecce, Naples, Massa-Carrara, Lucca, Pisa, Pfaffikon, and Bern in Switzerland, Baagastein in Austria, and St. Louis in Missouri.
