Pete Pinkleton was simply looking for a new property investment opportunity when he discovered a house for rent on Birdy. After making what Pete considered a perfectly reasonable offer ($0), the homeowner refused. Naturally, Pete took matters into his own hands. One selfie in front of the property later, Pete declared himself the new owner and began enjoying "his" backyard pool. Unfortunately for Pete, the homeowner turned out to be a police officer. What followed was an escalating property dispute involving impounded vehicles, multiple lawyers, confused officers, senior police command, and perhaps the most questionable piece of ownership evidence ever presented. Could a single selfie really prove ownership of a mansion?
