We knew a storm was heading our way from Kaliningrad. But this was the first time we'd seen anything like this! Our property suffered almost no damage. A few plants were down, but that's fixable. All the enclosures, buildings, and shelters survived. And my sister's property had a pear tree, an apple tree, and a huge chunk of pine blown off. A birch tree fell on the neighbors' power lines. The tree fell on the road leading from the village to the highway. And the power went out completely. Not only in the village, but also on the highway and in neighboring villages. The cell phone tower was knocked out. Electricians spent almost a day searching for the exact location of the break. They fixed it literally just an hour ago. It's only five minutes of wind, and there were so many competitions!
