Vidushi Ramya Sarika ----------------------------------------- Ramya Sarika is a talented Carnatic vocalist who has been training under stalwarts Kalaimamani Vid. Smt. Suguna Purushothaman and Sangeeta Kala Acharya Vid. Smt. Suguna Varadachari, in the Musiri/Semmangudi Baani for the last 15+ years. Her musical approach reflects the strong foundation and authentic Patantharam by the much sought-after gurus. Earlier gurus are Sri Chandrasekhar Bhat, Sri. KG Ramaswamy. She has also taken guidance on vocal and violin with Sri H.N. Bhaskar and had a short stint with Smt. TS Satyavathi. Ramya has performed in several reputed organizations in India and USA, including the December Music Festival in Chennai. A few notable ones are, Kartik Fine Arts, Naada Inbam, RR Sabha Mylapore, Krishna Gana Sabha, Madhuradhwani, Sheshadripuram Ramaseva Samithi, Suswaralaya College of Music, Malleswaram Sangeetha Sabha, Gaana Bharathi Mysore, Saptaswara Academy, Kalyan Nagar Ganesha Utsav, Bangalore International Center, etc. Ramya Sarika has performed for numerous lecture-demonstrations of Guru Smt. Suguna Purushothaman in major organizations in Chennai and Bangalore, which has enriched her learning experience under this illustrious Guru. Being a recipient of numerous prizes in competitions conducted by prestigious music organizations and a recognized vocalist of All India Radio Bangalore, she is a regular performer at the All India Radio since 2008. Concert reviews and articles have been published in prominent dailies such as The Hindu, The New Indian Express, The Deccan Herald, and local dailies. Sri - Sameth Sitaram ------------------------------------------------ Sameth Sitaram is fortunate to be a disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi, Padmashri Guru Kanyakumari Avasarala Amma for violin and is also under the tutelage of Sri. Vignesh Ishwar for vocal music. With the blessings of his Gurus, he has accompanied several graded artists and esteemed musicians at various venues and festivals around the US, India, and Canada, including Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Brahma Gana Sabha, Vani Mahal, Mylapore Fine Arts, Indian Fine Arts, Kartik Fine Arts, Paalam TV, Carnatica, VVS Foundation, Sadhguru Krupa, Gayatri Fine Arts Global, Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana Festival, CMANA. He has also performed several solo vocal and violin concerts. Vidwan - B S Prashanth --------------------------------------- B.S. Prashanth is a distinguished A-Grade Mridangam artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan, celebrated for his tonal precision, rythmic mastery, and versatility in accompanying legendary Carnatic musicians. He is a disciple of Ganakalabhushana Vidwan Sri K N Krishnamurthy, presently under the tutelege of Internationally acclaimed Mridangam Maestro Sri Patri Satish Kumar. With over 2,400 concerts to his credit, he has performed nationally and internationally with stalwarts like T.N. Seshagopalan, Rudrapatnam Brothers, Mysore Brothers, S. Shankar, Vid Neela Ramgopal, Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan, Sri Abhishek Raghuram and others. He has secured the Best Mridangam Artiste award from the Music Academy Madras, four times and Outstanding Mridangam Acconpanist award from Sri Shanmukhananda Fine Arts Mumbai. Recipient of honors and titles such as Layavadya Pratibha Mani, Sunaada Vidya Nidhi, and Kalaa Kusuma, Prashanth is also a dedicated teacher, continuing the rich tradition of Carnatic percussion.
