Grade 2 or PD ( not very hard). Upper section after the electricity pylons Grade 3 or D (difficult) Car park next to playing fields just out of les Culees which is a few kilometres out of St Michel du Maurienne. VF info board at car park. Long 45 min uphill slog to start of the easier section. Lower VF 20 min, Upper VF 30 mins . Return a long 60 mins via forest road/trail. A 2 in 1 VF with a lower v easy section that leads up to the pylons. After this there is a complete change with a tough haul up from the col towards a buttress that is tackled along a traverse on small metal steps that are wonderfully exposed. After this it becomes more of a scramble. Views are awesome on a clear day.
