1990 Ulster Club C'Ship Naomh Columba, Donegal V Lavey, Derry

A great game that took place in McCool Park Ballybofey on 14/10/1990 when Donegal Senior GAA Football Champions Naomh Columba, Glencolmcille, played Lavey the Derry champions in the Ulster Club C'ship first round. Naomh Columba had county players Noel & Paddy Hegarty and John Joe Doherty while Lavey had the Downey brothers Henry & Seamus and Anthony McGurk in his later years. There may have been other county players. Referee was Seamus Murray (Monaghan). Commentator was Highland Radio's Charlie Collins who commentated both on the game and ran his sports programme on Highland. Michael Mc Gee Highland Radio R.I.P. also contributed.
