This video lecture is about the steps of biological method for solving biological problem. Any problem which is related to living organisms, is called biological problem. And a method used to solve a biological problem is called biological method. Steps of biological method are below: 1. Recognition of biological problem Formulation of a question related to the problem. 2. Observation and previous research Biologists use 5 senses for observation like vision, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. Also recall old observations and study previous research on the same problem. Observations are of two types quantitative and qualitative. 3. Hypothesis Hypothesis which is a possible answer to biological problem is made by using observations. Hypothesis may be true or false. 4. Deduction To consider Hypothesis as true and draw out the expected results is called deduction. 5. Experiment Experiment is the most important step in biological method whose results are used to reject or accept the hypothesis. 6. Conclusion and reporting According the results of the experiment conclusion is made and published in books, research papers etc. Or presented in national and international seminars.
