Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom - Stage 5 (New Commentary Version)

The girl lived in the world after death. She was half-phantom and half-human... Almost there, now at stage 5. The stage itself is actually pretty simple and short compared to how long and unforgiving the last stage was. Bullets come in pretty set patterns and they come at you fairly slowly giving you plenty of time to see a way through them. Youmu as a mid-boss is a very good warmup for what's to come. Both of her attacks are weaker versions of the nonsense she's about to use on you. Youmu as a boss is a pain, no way around that. Her gimmick is that after attacking she'll slow down time for a brief moment. This may sound like a better option to Sakuya's stopping time in the last game, however this is much worse. You have to have REALLY good timing here because you will be expected to dodge through a wave of bullets while time is slowed and then have time return to normal before the attack finishes. A word of advice is to only use the focus button when time is normal then move at full speed when time is slowed. That way the change in speed won't be to awful jarring.
