Evan Garcia tests the Waka MANU

The ‪@waka_kayaks‬ Manu is our newest full sized creek boat. We took the DNA from many of the past Waka designs and added a bit of the newest technology. This is a high performance, nine foot long, do it all kayak. The Manu feels like a longer OG had a baby with the offspring of the Stoke and Gangsta…and then gained a few pounds. Fast slalom moves, effortless boofs, and insane skips. You can expect to feel the speed and length of this kayak right out of the gate. As I learned the design over a few laps the Manu really started to shine. It’s bow is incredibly easy to keep dry and it has a great mix between a loose new school hull with the ability to actually hold a line and track when you need it to. As you can see I put the boat through some solid testing on pushy steep whitewater, and I couldn’t be more happy with what I felt. This boat is a machine and we think you all are in for something truly special in The Waka Manu.
