Amiga 500 to VGA with Extron DVS-304

Description In this video we manufacturer a DB23 connector to connect to the Amiga’s video output port. Then we build an adapter to be able to use a normal VGA cable to connect to an Extron DVS-304 video scaler. Along the way we find out why scaling is needed and finally, we get a nice sharp picture out of the A500 and use a fancy test card video pattern generator to compare the output of the A520 composite adapter and the RGB output, both of which have been processed by the same Extron scaler.
