One lap is 21.7km and takes about 40 minutes, about two-thirds the distance and time of the Yamanote Line. While I personally find a lap on the Yamanote Line tiring, a lap on the Osaka Loop Line isn't nearly as tiring. Different departure melodies play at each station! Personally, I'd love to see the old departure melody make a comeback somewhere. I wonder if it'll be revived somewhere on the Sakurajima Line?
