According to the story, Marko Pasha was known for patiently listening to people who came to tell him their troubles. Even if he could not always offer a real solution, his habit of listening carefully became famous over time. Eventually, the phrase “Derdini Marko Paşa’ya anlat” became a Turkish expression used for problems that feel unsolved or ignored.
