TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) responded to the emergence of the name of preacher Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman, also known as Gus Miftah, in the trial of the alleged corruption case in the Solo–Semarang double-track railway Segment 1 (JGSS) project at the Semarang Corruption Court on Monday (July 13, 2026). KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that there is a possibility of confiscating the Rp 100 million allegedly transferred to Gus Miftah. Budi added that the KPK will await the evidentiary process in court. He also did not rule out summoning Gus Miftah for questioning if necessary to strengthen the evidence. During the trial, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) revealed the alleged flow of Rp 100 million to Gus Miftah during the questioning of the former Commitment Making Officer (PPK) for the JGSS project, Dheki Martin. Prosecutor Greafik Loserte read the witness's interrogation report (BAP) and openly mentioned Gus Miftah. When questioned, Dheki did not deny the contents of the BAP. The trial lasted from 9:30 a.m. to 4:10 p.m. WIB, with 12 witnesses present: eight present in person and four online. This case implicates the inactive Pati Regent, Sudewo. The indictment alleges that Sudewo received commitment fees from several railway projects, including the Jakarta Railways Railways (JGSS). The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) had previously conducted searches and questioned witnesses to trace the flow of funds for the DJKA project. The alleged flow of Rp 100 million to Gus Miftah was a highlight of the latest trial. As of the publication of this article, Gus Miftah had not directly responded to the facts of the trial or the possibility of seizure mentioned by the KPK.
