A visit to the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway (2026)
On the 21/03/2026, my friend visited the 13 mile long 15 inch gauge Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway in Kent which runs from Hythe to Dungeness with 5 intermediate station at Dymchurch, St Mary’s Bay, Romney Warren, New Romney and Romney Sands. This video features a round trip along the entire route and also of steam locomotive No. 9 “Winston Churchill” entering service at New Romney and shunting and using the turntable at Hythe.
