Life before the big renovation begins - Italy's emptiest mountain village
In this video, we take you with us through our daily tasks around the house. Since we bought it in March 2026, our main focus has been the garden. When we became the owners, the house had been abandoned for 10 years, so you can imagine what the garden looked like... totally overgrown! We'll show you the before and after one day. Right now, we're waiting for all the permits to come through so the renovations can begin. Until then, there's no point in starting too many permanent projects since we don't know which roads the workers will use or what chaos they will cause. You'll see us gardening, clearing the land, painting, and making a tincture, as well as getting a glimpse of what our everyday life looks like here. :) We really can't wait to start the big renovation projects in this journey—hopefully in October!
